Technology & Product Use Statement

This Technology & Product Use Statement (“Statement”) governs the purchase, licensing, possession, resale, and use of all software, hardware, devices, equipment, and related materials provided by OzNet, operated from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (“OzNet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, accessing, or using any technology or product, you agree to be bound by this Statement in addition to our Terms of Use.
1. Lawful Use Requirement
All products and software must be used strictly in accordance with applicable local, national, and international laws.
You are solely responsible for determining the legality of possession, importation, resale, and use of any product within your jurisdiction.
OzNet makes no representation that any product is lawful in your location.
2. Assumption of Risk
Certain products may involve electrical components, electromagnetic systems, signal detection technologies, shielding systems, or other specialized equipment.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Use involves inherent risks.
- Improper handling may result in damage to property, electronic systems, data, or equipment.
- You assume all risks associated with operation, storage, resale, or modification.
OzNet shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage arising from use or misuse.
3. No Unlawful Surveillance or Interception
You may not use any product or software for:
- Unauthorized interception of communications
- Illegal surveillance
- Invasion of privacy
- Monitoring without lawful authority
- Harassment or coercion
Compliance with surveillance and communications laws is solely your responsibility.
4. EMP and Electromagnetic Devices
Where products involve electromagnetic emission, shielding, or interference-related technologies:
- You are solely responsible for ensuring lawful use.
- You assume all risks relating to operation or activation.
- You acknowledge that misuse may cause damage to electronic systems or infrastructure.
OzNet disclaims all liability for any consequence arising from use.
5. Signal Detection and Monitoring Tools
Detection tools are provided for lawful identification of electronic signals and environmental awareness.
You may not use detection equipment for unlawful interference, disruption, or unauthorized intrusion into networks or communications systems.
6. Software License Restrictions
All software is licensed, not sold.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer
- Decompile
- Disassemble
- Modify
- Replicate
- Redistribute
- Resell
- Extract source code
- Create derivative works
The license is non-transferable and revocable.
7. Hardware Resale
Hardware may be resold by purchasers.
However:
- OzNet assumes no responsibility whatsoever for resale, secondary transfer, modification, integration, or downstream use.
- All liability transfers entirely to the reseller and subsequent user upon resale.
- We provide no warranties to secondary purchasers.
8. Commercial and Personal Use
Products may be used for personal or commercial purposes, provided such use remains lawful and consistent with all applicable agreements.
Nothing in this Statement authorizes illegal activity.
9. Modification and Integration
Products are not intended for modification, alteration, or integration into systems or applications outside their intended scope.
Unauthorized modification voids any applicable return eligibility and releases OzNet from all responsibility.
10. Regulatory Compliance
You are solely responsible for:
- Import/export compliance
- Licensing requirements
- Telecommunications regulations
- Electromagnetic emission regulations
- Consumer safety compliance
- Any permits required in your jurisdiction
OzNet disclaims all responsibility for regulatory violations.
11. No Warranty
All products and software are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding:
- Performance
- Effectiveness
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Compatibility
- Legal permissibility in your jurisdiction
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OzNet from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from:
- Use or misuse
- Regulatory violations
- Resale
- Modification
- Integration into other systems
- Third-party claims
This obligation survives termination and resale.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
OzNet shall not be liable for:
- Direct or indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Property damage
- Data loss
- Electronic system failure
- Personal injury or death
- Government penalties or fines
Total liability shall remain limited in accordance with the Terms of Use.
14. Right to Refuse Sale
OzNet reserves the right to refuse or cancel any sale at its sole discretion.
15. Survival
All disclaimers, indemnities, and limitations of liability survive termination, resale, or transfer.
